может у тебя нет виртуальной машины, потому что некоторые примочки не отображаются. у меня такое было, только с оперой. ли не показывал, а опера на ура. так поставил и все заработало.

Народ! У меня вопрос по поводу настройки Firefox.
Есть сайт-там меню сделанное с помощью Java Script. Подносишь курсор-выплывает выбор. Так вот, с IE всё работает, а вот с Firefox нет. Ничего не выплывает. Какие настройки надо поменять?

Kuzma, все в порядке с твоим FF. Это скрипты у них кривые, заточенные под IE. Ну, Opera их тоже поймет - специально под совместимость с IE сделана. А для FF есть плагин, который (под Windows, конечно) позволяет быстро переключиться на движок IE. Кстати, загляни, когда будешь на том сайте в Инструменты/Консоль JavaScript - если скрипт и правдв кривой, как я думаю, там будут сообщения об ошибках.

Извините, если повторю вопрос, который уже был.
Нужен плагин, чтобы блокировать флеш-анимацию (Firefox 1.5), или загружать ее только по моему желанию.
Стоит AdBlock, попробывал его настроить - просто добавил филтры на *.swf в настройках. Но срабатывает не всегда.
Где б найти такой плагинчик?

это расширение Flashblock. только вот с восьмым плеером не всегда нормально работает. Но это редко, а так это то, что тебе нужно.

Не знаю как там с изменениями в версии, то что перечислено в списке мне не так принципиально. Всем хорош FF, за исключением одного "но" уже вроде упомянутого выше - чем дольше работает тем больше начинает отжирать оперативки, и если на машинах с 512 МБ и выше это не так заметно, то с 256 и особенно 128 начинает тупить со страшной силой. =( Никак не дождусь когда это изменится, но пока воз и ныне там...
Приходится время от времени выгружать FF
