It has an "Activator" which is very different to the keygen we've seen before. It has just five buttons marked Active, Run, Reset, About and Exit. Instructions are in Chinese. The whole archive seems to be for Embarcadero Delphi 10.3.v26.0.32429.4364.Lite.v15.0

I am not sure. It is free but I think they need to know who is using it. Also, I believe it has to be renewed each year. Another possibility is that the activator promotes Lite to higher version?

This is not "Delphi Light".
This is just a smaller version, with no extra elements and which takes up less space.

hi, i've encountered lite edition for many delphi versions (since delphi 5). i wonder what's the difference between the lite edition vs the free/community edition?

Community Edition is official by Embarcadero, to developers begginers, students, and dont use advanced technology and Remote Database like MSSQL, Oracle, etc.. more simples apps with local Database (Embbed), for example. Then is not for "developers that need to use all techs currently", but would like learn the language, like "MS Windows Start or Home". understand?

You can buy components suite from another company for example, but is necessary know if it will works!

You want learn Object Pascal or CBuilder but dont need all resources initially.
But another limit is " IF you SALE your apps, your amount / years should be <= $5000.00 <--- important because Embarcadero will can block your license!
You license is Free for each year, then, it will be renewed each years - Free!

You can create apps VCL, FMX, Android etc.. but you dont have "remote Database components" understand?

Lite edition is normally, non-official version, or be, someone xpert like "Lsuper" release one "hacked" version with little resources or customized installation.

If you're begginer, then try Download the Community Edition (Delphi or CBuilder) in Embarcadero site.

NOTE: if you have one edition the same value than Community Edition, then you need un-install it. Because CE dont will install with another IDE the same value.

CE 10.3 = RAD Studio 10.3 Arch / Enterprise / Pro, etc...

But you can install in a VM for example.

It is an update of Delphi 10.2 Tokyo, C++Builder 10.2 Tokyo, and RAD Studio 10.2 Tokyo available for any active Update Subscription customer. If you have already installed 10.2.3 released in March 2018, installing build 3231 will require a full uninstall and reinstall.

This release includes the following 10.2 Tokyo patches and hotfixes:

• RAD Server 10.2.3 Performance Patch (July 13th, 2018)
• iOS 11.3 and CodeInsight Patch (June 26th, 2018)
• Delphi - RAD Server Linux Apache Patch (May 17th, 2018)
• iOS 11.3 Patch (May 8th, 2018)
• C++Builder - C++ Compiler 4k Stack Allocation Patch (April 17th, 2018)

Installation
RAD Studio 10.2.3 Tokyo, build 3231 is available as an installer (Feature Installer) and as an ISO (Offline Installer) from the registered users web page.
The installers are available for download on the following registered users download pages:

Notes:

• To preserve your existing installation settings, it is recommended to install 10.2.3 Tokyo, build 3231 using the same installer (Offline Installer or Feature Installer) you used when installing 10.2 Tokyo.
• To determine which installer you used, verify if the IDE shows the Manage Platforms option under the Tools menu.
• If the menu item is available it means you used the Feature Installer.

Community Edition Restrictions
The Community Edition has the following restrictions:

• 1 year term license, requiring free renewal on an annual basis.

Community Edition aims to make it easy to use Delphi and C++Builder, including learning the tools or starting to develop software with them, as well as assist students and open source developers.
